As the agency of record for Helping Harvest, my team at Design Revolution partnered with the Greater Berks Food Bank on a comprehensive rebranding initiative. Helping Harvest collects, purchases, stores, and distributes over 9 million pounds of food annually to more than 350 programs feeding the hungry in Berks and Schuylkill counties.
The challenge was twofold: first, the food bank’s name and branding no longer reflected its expanded service area; second, unlike most food banks that distribute primarily non-perishable goods, their mission focused on providing 70% fresh food to the community. We developed a strategic rebranding plan that included a new name, a refreshed visual identity, and a multi-faceted launch campaign, ensuring inclusivity across both counties and reinforcing their fresh food mission. The result was an overwhelming success, leading to significant growth for the organization and earning award-winning recognition.
RESULTS:
• The rebrand successfully positioned Helping Harvest as a trusted, inclusive, and mission-driven food bank, leading to exponential growth and ongoing impact in the community
• Since the rebrand, Helping Harvest has expanded its services, increasing food distribution by 200% and reaching thousands of additional families in need
• Hermes Creative Awards & Dot Comm Awards Platinum Winner for excellence in pro bono branding work
